CLOSING THE OPPORTUNITY GAP
87% of our scholars are young people of color. Our scholarships move the needle towards improving the racial and socioeconomic inequities that typically prevent students from under-represented communities from pursuing a college education.

We know it takes more than just dollars to keep first-generation college students on track. Here's some of the extra support that Pivotal gives foster youth.
COACHING
94% of our high school scholars were satisfied with our program and plan to re-enroll next year.
TUTORING
In 2018, 74% of our scholars who received tutoring achieved a C or better in their classes.
SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
In 2018, 95% of our summer interns successfully completed a 10-week professional internship.
