Your sponsorship will directly impact the lives of young people in foster care. Starting as early as 9th grade, Pivotal works with foster youth as they navigate the critical years from high school to college and into the workforce. Paired with their own Pivotal coach, foster youth get one-on-one support to set their educational and career goals, then develop a plan to achieve them. We set young people up for success through professional development workshops, academic tutoring, college scholarships, and paid summer internships. Your sponsorship helps us make all of this possible.

Behind every successful foster youth is a team of people cheering for his
or her success. Sometimes it’s a fantastic social worker who goes above
and beyond the call of duty. Other times, it’s an employer that recognizes the creativity and resilience that foster youth bring to the workplace. And, sometimes, it’s a member of our community who comes into their lives at just the right time to make a difference.
The Masters of Change Awards Program was designed by foster youth to honor the people in their lives who find ways to change the odds for kids living in the foster care system. These awards amplify the voices of our youth and bring awareness to the good work being done by caring and committed change-makers in our community. Current and former foster youth are welcome to nominate individuals.
